We supply all the materials and the machinery so you can practice freely (free coffee and tea too). With lots of other designers surrounding our studio, the general mood is inspirational.
I specialise in UAL amd UCA curriculum. My main subject is Fashion and Textiles my second subject is Fine Art: Painting and Sculpture. I teach all ages and have had experience with 5 year old and adult learners. I can teach you or your child in your home or my Fashion and Textile design studio in Battersea or my Fine Art studio in The East End.
I focus mainly on the students weaknesses and then the engineer the classes on strengthening those weaknesses by having continuous critiques and practise sessions.
I provide examples of re-purposed items followed by simple exercises to open up your thinking of possibilities for uses of used clothing and textiles before considering your own items in the same way. Alongside this you will be coached on your lifestyle as it is, how you would like it to be and how to develop the attitudes, attributes and approaches needed to move in the direction you most desire.
I teach only in small group (maximum of 5) so that students can get a lot of individual attention as well as learn from and encourage each other.
