About Chikondi
My name is Chikondi and I come from Malawi. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which has strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills—both of which play a big role in how I approach teaching. I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, but more importantly, I enjoy seeing people grow in their confidence when it comes to understanding math. What motivates me most is knowing that I can help someone shift from feeling stuck or uncertain to feeling capable and in control of their learning. Outside of academics, I’m someone who enjoys learning new things, especially in areas like technology, education, and personal development. I’m also interested in how digital tools can improve the learning experience, especially for students who might not have easy access to traditional classroom support. When I’m not studying or tutoring, I enjoy activities that allow me to think creatively and stay organized—whether that’s planning projects, helping others solve challenges, or even exploring new ideas that can make learning more effective. I consider myself to be a patient, approachable, and reliable person, and I value clear communication. I believe that learning works best in a supportive and respectful environment, where students feel heard and encouraged. These values guide how I interact with everyone I teach. I’m also committed to personal growth and continuous learning. As a tutor, I don’t just aim to teach but also to keep improving the way I help others. I stay open to feedback and always look for ways to make each student’s learning experience better. If you’re looking for someone who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely cares about your progress, I’d be glad to support you.

In my lessons, I focus on making math feel less intimidating by breaking down ideas into simple, understandable steps. Whether you’re just starting out with basic arithmetic or working through more advanced topics like algebra or geometry, I’ll guide you patiently and make sure you truly understand what you’re learning.
I know that everyone learns differently. Some students like to see lots of examples, others prefer to work through problems together, and some just need someone to explain things in a way that makes sense to them. That’s why I always adjust my teaching to fit your learning style and pace. If something doesn’t make sense the first time, we’ll go over it again—no pressure, no stress.
Each lesson is practical and interactive. We’ll solve problems together, look at how math applies to real-life situations, and make sure you feel comfortable asking questions. I believe there’s no such thing as a silly question—if you’re curious about it, it’s worth asking.
I also offer help with homework, exam preparation, and general study support. If you have a test coming up or a tricky assignment, we can work through it step by step so that you feel prepared and confident.
I work with learners of all ages—whether you're in primary school, secondary school, or just want to brush up on your math skills as an adult. My goal is not only to help you get good results but also to help you build long-term skills that will stick with you beyond the classroom.
Lessons are available online or in person, depending on what works best for you. After each session, I’ll give feedback and tips on what to focus on next, so you can keep making progress.
At the end of the day, I want you to feel capable and proud of your growth in math. If you're ready to take that step, I’d love to work with you.
Let’s get started.
