About R Scott
I am an enthusiastic Teacher of History who is eager to help pupils develop their skills and achieve improved results in their understanding of the past. History and teaching have long been my passions. I have discovered a profound joy and expertise in sharing knowledge and fostering curiosity in pupils. As a tutor, I believe I can have an even greater impact on individual learners. I have a Master of Letters with Merit in History, and a PGDE in Secondary Education tailored to teaching History. My teaching style is based on a pupil-centred approach, focusing on the strengths and areas for progress to tailor lessons to individual needs. As a qualified Teacher of History, I draw upon my experience and insights gained from professional development courses such as the Understanding Standards courses provided by the SQA.

I have valuable classroom experience as a Teacher of History from my year at Dunblane High School.
