About Ezra

I have been teaching piano for over 9 years, and I hold an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. My passion lies in helping students connect emotionally to the music they play. I believe that understanding music theory and developing strong technique are the foundations for expressive performance. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals, whether they are a beginner or preparing for advanced exams. I focus on building skills in sight-reading, ear training, and improvisation alongside core piano technique. I encourage students to explore different musical styles, from classical to jazz, pop, and soul. I love guiding students as they discover their own musical voice and gain confidence at the keyboard. Performance practice is an important part of my teaching, helping students develop stage presence and comfort. I also integrate creative exercises to make lessons engaging and fun. My approach balances structure with flexibility, adapting to each student’s pace. I aim to inspire a lifelong love of music while ensuring steady progress. Seeing my students grow technically and emotionally as musicians is incredibly rewarding. Every lesson is an opportunity to make music meaningful and enjoyable.

English

My piano lessons focus on building strong technical skills, musical understanding, and performance confidence. I guide students from beginner to advanced levels, helping them play with expression and accuracy. Lessons include keyboard technique, sight-reading, ear training, improvisation, and theory application, so students understand music deeply. I integrate scales, chords, and harmonies through practical exercises that make learning enjoyable. Performance skills are emphasized, preparing students for recitals, exams, or personal projects. I adapt my approach to each learner, supporting those who show early talent as well as adults pursuing music as a hobby. Lessons are interactive, combining structured practice with creative exploration. I use diverse musical styles, including classical, jazz, soul, and pop, to keep sessions engaging. I encourage regular feedback and goal-setting to track progress. My aim is to make students confident, skilled, and passionate about piano. Above all, I create a positive and inspiring environment where every student can excel and enjoy their musical journey.
