About Jasper
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 14 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching between 200 to 300 students, helping each one grow in skill and confidence. My teaching is centred around personalised learning—I adapt my lessons to fit each student’s goals, pace, and style. Whether it’s classical, jazz, pop, or R&B, I focus on making music both fun and meaningful. I also bring unique skills like improvisation, music theory, and composition into my sessions to give students a well-rounded musical education. My aim is not just to teach piano, but to inspire a lifelong love for music in every student I work with.

My piano teaching strategy is based on integrity, accountability, and creativity. Creativity plays a big role in my lessons—I encourage students to explore different styles like classical, jazz, soul, funk, and R&B. I also promote collaboration through duets and group activities when possible. Besides piano, I can guide students in related areas like music theory, composition, and performance skills, making learning a complete and inspiring experience.
