About Juan Luis

Hello! I'm Juanlu, your Spanish teacher, and my passion goes beyond the language. I believe that truly understanding a language involves connecting it with the unique cultures and societies of different countries. As a language learner myself, I've discovered that the most effective learning comes from practical communication in real-life situations. In my classes, we'll immerse ourselves in lively conversations on cultural and current topics. My goal is to make you feel confident discussing any topic in Spanish and to acquire practical skills for real-world situations. Are you ready to embark on your Spanish learning journey? Perhaps to pick up where you left off, tackle persistent challenges, or fine-tune some pesky errors? Acquire practical skills, build confidence, and immerse yourself in the richness of the Spanish language. Book your first class with me, tell me what you need, and together, we'll make your learning experience unique, compatible with your routine, and help you achieve your goals!

About the lesson

I've been fully dedicated to online Spanish teaching for foreign students for 3 years, with over 1800 classes taught to students of all levels. This is what you can expect from my lessons. My approach is personal and practical: - I adapt to your specific needs and your current level. - You are at the centre of your learning experience. - I tailor each class based on your goals, interests, and pace. - I'm flexible to accommodate your schedule and commitments. - I offer convenience and easy communication to coordinate our classes. - You have easy access to materials and theory from anywhere. - I encourage continuous learning and provide extra resources for improvement outside of classes. - I offer personalised tracking to ensure your progress. - I use a proven method with excellent results for my students. I specialise in teaching Spanish to foreigners, with certifications from the Cervantes Institute and other universities, as well as an Official Master's degree that qualifies me to teach in Spain. I have a C2 level in English and French. My Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation for Spanish, French, English, and Chinese, combined with my experience of living in different countries, has enriched my understanding of cultures and communication.

As a fellow Spanish teacher, I have known Juan Luis for the past 8 years, and I know for a fact that he is an amazing teacher. Not only he has studied hard over the years to achieve the qualifications and knowledge that this profession requires, but he has also worked in several educational environments, which makes him a very experienced tutor. He has worked with people from all ranges of ages and several nationalities, and he is known for his capacity to adapt and target to the specific needs of each student. He has helped me improve as a teacher myself in multiple occasions and I trust that he is an amazing fit for this platform.
