About Flavio
I’m a 23-year-old recent graduate from an architecture program in Brooklyn, New York, where I spent the last five years studying and living in a highly international environment. I am a native bilingual speaker of both Spanish and English, having grown up using both languages every day in my personal and academic life. I also speak French at an intermediate level.
As a Cuban-American, language and culture have always been a central part of my identity. I’ve also traveled extensively throughout my life, which has given me a strong understanding of different cultures and ways of communicating. I’m now based in France, bringing a global and adaptable perspective to my teaching.
My background allows me to connect easily with students and explain both languages naturally, clearly, and with confidence.

I offer personalized Spanish lessons for English speakers of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners—and I also teach English to Spanish speakers. As a fully bilingual Cuban-American who grew up speaking both English and Spanish natively, I understand exactly how to bridge the gap between the two languages.
My approach focuses on real conversation, pronunciation, and practical vocabulary you’ll actually use in everyday life. Lessons are relaxed, engaging, and adapted to your goals…whether you’re learning for travel, work, or just to connect with new cultures.
I also incorporate cultural insights from Latin America and the U.S. to make learning more dynamic and meaningful. Based in Europe with a New York background, I bring an international perspective to every session.
