About Suprakash
My first camera was an Isoly- II which my father gifted in 1980. After that I bought a Zenith and then a Nikon F75 In 2004.
My first DSLR was Nikon D90 in 2009; after that came D700 and an array of different lenses from ultra wide to telephoto.
In this long way, I have experimented with many genres in film as well as in digital format.
I have also completed an one year course on photography from the institute of legendary Mr. Benu Sen.
In last 12 years I have contributed my images and also have undertaken a number of assignments for various magazines & coffee table books.
I have also written for some publications for long time.
My pictures have been exhibited in many national and international exhibitions and also won some prizes.
These are apart from my own blog which has become very popular.

My style of teaching is interactive, flexible and based on the level and interest of the students.
First, the scientific theories related to photography are explained with example of images.
Next will be familiarisation with Camera.
The lesson on "art of photography" starts in the 3rd stage. Various theories and their respective applications are demonstrated; students are encouraged to practice the same.
I also lead photowalks to explain various aspects and give hands on practical training.
In the review session, pictures are seen and various positives and negatives are dicussed in details to sharpen the acquired skill.
I also teach basics of photo processing; this is optional.
My mentorship is a journey full of fun and the learning is easy & satisfying.
