About Margo

I'm currently enrolled in my second year of my Chemistry BSc at University College Dublin. I've been learning Japanese by myself since I was 15 years old, and have acquired endless hours of studying, immersion and practice throughout the years. In 2024, I went on an exchange trip to a high school in Osaka which furthered my confidence in using the language day-to-day and understanding how natives actually speak. I really love studying languages in my free time and am currently tackling Russian. I love to challenge myself and others to bring them to their full potential!

About the lesson

- Fully personalized lessons and long-term learning plans based on the student's current ability and goals
- Available to answer questions or correct work outside of lessons
- In person in South Dublin/City Centre, or online
- Experienced and familiar with the Japanese Leaving Certificate curriculum, as I took it last year and achieved a full 100% in the written exam, oral and listening.
- Achieved 155/180 in N2 (upper-intermediate/B2) with 60/60 in both the reading and listening sections.
- JLPT tutoring (N5-N3 level), making sure you have all of the vocabulary required, grammar knowledge and listening/reading ability needed to pass your exam.
- Friendly and passionate for the Japanese language and helping others learn it most effectively.
- Can help set up Anki flashcards and give advice for efficient self-study between lessons.
- Located in Greystones & UCD, other lesson locations can be arranged.
