Hi I'm Katie I'm 20 years old I have been studying English for 2 years now at Liverpool John Moores university I've enjoyed all aspects of learning within those two years and would like to pass my knowledge on. As a high school student my English teacher provided a very stable support system when it came to revision, studying, and grasping the different aspects of the subject which in my opinion allowed me to move forward to university with confidence with the subject

I provide a kind approach to the reading and writing materials whilst maintaining a good level-of listening and understanding of the student. I take my time teaching and ensure they grasp and understand fully the materials at hand I will often set weekly tests to cover what we have learnt the past week to ensure the student has understood what we have gone through and to see if any areas need to be revisited. Approaching exam season I will create a step by step revision guide not a lot to overwhelm the student but enough that they understand the concepts and what is expected within the exams and the best way to approach the exam questions when the time comes
