About Daniel
I've been DJing since 2022 and it's been a fun journey, I want to pass on my knowledge and skills to future DJs because sometimes I hear DJs play who don't have the basics down, who have been DJing for years.
Rather than leave them to their own devices, I want to be a part of helping them and we can learn and grow together. I also have access to a big DJ community too, where we share tips, gigs and opportunities together which they can be a part of too.

About the lesson

We will first go through the basics, how to create good playlists, where to get your music from, how to do basic mixing and how to respond to requests.
Then we delve deeper into more in-depth DJing after a couple of lessons, which includes how to set up a PA system, how to do a variety of transitions, use of effects, how to use the mic etc.
I require students to have a tablet or laptop to start off with, then we can use a basic controller, then over time upgrade the gear.
I mainly use Serato, Cross DJ and Rekordbox for DJing.
I will always ask students what they want to get out of the DJ lessons, what genres they are into and what they hope to achieve.
Lessons can be in the London or Essex area
