Hi My name is Sarah. I am a qualified TEFL teacher based in the UK. I have over 6 years experience of teaching English as a foreign language in Spain and UK both in a classroom setting and online. I teach English to student of all ages and levels around the world via Skype.
I want to help GCSE students get the best grades they possibly can and to do so structure my lessons based on what they need to learn the most.

It sounds a little crazy, but I love my language and I want to share it with the rest of the world. Sometimes simple, often complex, but always rich, diverse and rewarding, English is my passion and I love explaining its many aspects with eager students, whether it is basic grammar and pronunciation or advanced vocabulary and regional accents.
Maths is a subject where practice makes perfect, and therefore teach in a way that encourages people to keep trying until they are confident in doing the work, I do this by showing examples and working through work.
I like to create a teacher-led environment, but also give my students the autonomy to lead their own learning at times, to ensure that they are getting the very best out of their time with me. Doing this ensures that I can monitor my students progress whilst they feel comfortable with their learning.
My teaching method is to be very friendly and make all my students feel motivated and successful. I will give a hands on approach tutoring children in all areas whilst tracking their progress with regular exams and questions.
I would provide children with a warm and welcoming environment in which they can feel comfortable and ready to learn. I believe that encouragement is highly important whilst tutoring children.
Very much an active Historian - I teach through expereince. I try and link as much as I can with the modern day to help things make sense to students. Happy to teach via skype or other voice communication software for distance learning.
Based on previous experiences I find my effective teaching approach is to either practise and example together then allow yourself to run through a question and assist when you either cannot complete a section or do not understand it.
I try to make my lessons as fun as possible while ensuring students feel ready and confident about the exam. I look at a variety of exam questions along with the mark schemes to ensure students know what they are aiming for.
I am a young and modern school librarian working in a secondary school. I am available to students evenings and weekends to provide specialist reading intervention as well as general English lessons. I am the literacy co-ordinator at my school and have four years successful experience in raising student Reading ages. I have a BA English Degree and qualified librarian status.
My teaching method has been described as relaxed with mutual respect stopping my classes from descending into chaos.
Based on tutoring my peers during my maths a-level, I believe that breaking each topic down into very small chunks is the best way to teach maths, as the subject relies on step-by-step methods.
Tutoring can take place at the students home or via Skype. Methods are tailored to individual needs and preferences. Most tuition involves multi-sensory learning and covers all aspects of academic writing, organisation and study skills. Assessments are Quality Assured and can be used for claiming Disabled Students' Allowance for those at University.
I'm a trainee primary school teacher so have a vast knowledge of the primary curriculum from 4-11 years old. My tutoring sessions will be fun and engaging but will ensure the child feels confident on the subject at the end of the lesson. I will use a range of techniques to teach, and will spend time getting to know the child and their preferred learning style, personalising the lesson for them.
My method of teaching is based around learning while doing.
Hi everyone, I currently tutor learners from Key stage 4 to 19 years. I teach Btec Level 1 Childcare, Health & Social Care, Functional skills Math & English,Sports and Customer Service. I love a friendly vibrant learning environment, where everyone feels comfortable to join in. I like to have background music on in a lesson to make learning more relaxed.
I like to keep my lessons fun and interactive. Allowing my students to get involved in practical tasks, allows me to identify how much they are learning- whilst on the go.
I love my subject and wish to pass this on to my students, helping them to enjoy and achieve. My teaching methods adapt to the individual need of each student. I have taught both skills based and direct instruction approaches. I have experience of teaching special educational needs and English as an additional language too if needed.

I'm a current MSc Economics and Econometrics student at the University of Nottingham. This course heavily involves Mathematics and Statistics which I enjoy also. I'm able to provide Maths lessons to all students up to A-level. I particularly enjoy (love) algebra.
I am a university Lecturer in fluid mechanics but my teaching is always designed to convey the material in a manner and level appropriate to the learner. I have two kids so I am familiar with the maths syllabus from primary age right through to undergraduate level. I will lead you step by step through the process of learning in an engaging and exciting way.
I take pride in creating exciting and engaging content, and in delivering concepts and ideas an a relevant way suited to the interests of the student. I am proficient in building and maintaining professional but trusting and positive relationships with all students, which I have found invaluable in the contribution to enjoyment of studying English language and literature.
Im very confident, outgoing and friendly and I have always taken my work seriously. I achieved two A*'s and an A in my A Levels, including 100% in my Philosophy exam. I love getting to know other people and making friends, and whilst I always remain professional I intend for my students to also find me relatable. I want to get to know an individual student before I decide how I will tutor them.
My teaching method is student focused, accordingly to each student's need, goal and learning style. Every lesson plan is built around each student. Trough my flexible and suitable to any level teaching style every student is able to reach goals prefixed easily.
I fully understand how difficult science can be and hence, I connect with your ability and where your current level of understanding is enabling me to plan a lesson the fits around you. This method has worked both in and out of schools, as well as in lessons and in tutorials from Yr7 up to Yr 13.
I always begin by carrying out an initial assessment of my learners to establish existing knowledge and learning needs before negotiating targets and a starting point. Lessons are always planned and progress is recorded on an individual learning plan. Progress and targets are reviewed regularly.
I am an English Language and Literature Student tutoring English at home, to those at GCSE/AS and A Level. I learn and teach via listening, practice questions, mind maps, flash cards and any other method you would enjoy learning by.
I find that the best way to learn is through giving examples and answering past questions. This means students can learn what the examiners are looking for so they can achieve the highest marks. However, I find the applications of mathematics in the wider world is fascinating so would like to show students this.
