I use the comparative method of teaching based on understanding the similarities and differences between the Russian and English languages. My lessons are conducted in a Socratic style, i.e. it is always a conversation between the tutor and a pupil on the subject. I offer a large number of worksheets and other resources, in hard and electronic version.
I currently tutor students from Primary school up until GCSE in maths, chemistry and biology.
My teaching methodology is flexible and adapted to each students needs and learning preferences, I am open to listening and understanding each students different requirements
I base my classes in what your child is finding particularly difficult and what I can see they need work on.
I base my lessons on how I personally prepared for my examinations by completing and looking at a mixture of past exam papers and going over problem questions. Generally looking to help fix any weaknesses with particular subjects and help the student see where they've made mistakes.
I have been very successful at accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all styles of learning, offering individualized support and integrated effective materials into the course. I have utilized discussion-based lessons in order to promote a deeper understanding of the topics covered.
The first few lessons are about getting to know the type of learner the student is. I also ascertain what aspects of the subject and level of support required by the student. I plan each lesson thoroughly, taking into consideration what works well for the student.
My approach to teaching is developing understanding of mathematics through the utilisation of exam style questions and practice papers, allowing the development of cognitive thinking while directly teaching exam technique and therefore the most efficient way of achieving optimal results.
Best example I can give for RE/RS/Philosophy and ethics is to first go over the topic in detail for knowledge, then break the topic down to a few key points like, main idea, founder, quotes and examples. I would then go over how you would approach an exam question on the topic.
Teachers must have theoretical and practical knowledge and abilities about science, learning, and science teaching.
Going through every topic one by one and practice exam question on the same topic we just learned. After finishing a huge topic I expect all of the student to make a colourful summary sheet with minimal writing but a lot of diagrams which they can easy revisit come exam time.
I teach what's practical and necessary to get functional rather than focusing on text book theory. With my methods you will be up and running in next to no time and will find it worth your while. I can provide training at your home or online at a time convenient to you.
I approach each subject by using the key sources that are provided by examining boards (the syllabus) and use past exam papers to direct and ensure my teaching is subject specific. Also patterns in past exam papers allow us to predict which topics appear more frequently, so we can ensure that this knowledge is consolidated.
Hello! My name is Simbi and I am a female 20 year old student studying Engineering in London. English is my first language, but I first started learning Mandarin when I was 11, and so I have 9 years experience in speaking, listening, reading and writing Mandarin. My specialisation is teaching Mandarin for GCSE and A-Level, having completed both qualifications myself, before entering university.
I have been teaching International relations to University of London's International program students for last couple of years now; my teaching technique is simple and effective, it's more of study group kind of approach, with a lot of room and freedom for students to get relaxed and comfortable to actually understand the complexities of global Geo-politics.
I give lessons up to the level of a levels for English literature as well as language up to GCSE's. I like to teach in a more creative way creating mindmaps etc of revision we have done. I also like to do exam papers and reflect back on techniques to enhance grades.
my teaching method is that first i make friendship with the children and they get to know me properly and identify their strengths and weakness and by then i could be able to pick out their defaults and make it into their strengths
There is no right and wrong way to learn a language, but I like to use visual and sounds. This way the student will understand with their eyes and also without the help of visual. These two combinations will increase their knowledge and make sure they are comfortable learning.
my teaching method is by making students understand and double check whether they understand. I go to classes with cards with spellings, sentences, punctuations and give them a little exam at the end so the student has understood the class today.
I'm a top set GCSE student (year 10/Age 15) who wants to help children learn to read. I like to chat with students briefly at the beginning of lessons, enabling a rolemodel relationship to develop. Then we begin to read and assistance is given where necessary. Lessons are held at Northolt, Yeading or Greenford libraries so that a large variety of books at many levels are available.
I would be taking classes lessons by lessons, would be covering all the topics related to babies and their growth and care right from the time the baby is in the womb.
I would like my students to gain much knowledge on my topics higher than I have. I believe in doing things practically than just listening to classes, so would appreciate students who are ready to do the practicals with me.
I am a very bubbly girl and very willing to help and teach anyone who needs my help. French is my strong point, due to family members speaking French. I got an A* in French GCSE and I am further studying French now for my A levels. I am very patient and trust worthy and will do all I can to make sure the people i work with are successful.

I have also taught learners with learning difficulties as well as more mature students.
I structure my lessons around content, and what my students wish to focus on. My methodology is straightforward; I approach each topic and discuss it in different ways, ensuring different teaching methods are used in order to suit individual students. I give lessons to all types of students and aim to take into account the issues my students wish to approach.
My teaching method is based on verbal and non-verbal exercises, followed by conversation and assignment checking; you are the student you choose how you want to learn. I have found that most students enjoy learning about passionate subjects that they enjoy and know. As A tutor I am patient and understand yet still demanding.

I personally don't believe in a specific method of learning or teaching a new language. I think by building friendships and practising the language with others is the main way to quickly learn. I would like to help others in improving their English in areas you may be interested in, whether you are a beginner or just someone who enjoys learning languages; through one-to-one tailor made lessons.
