My teaching method is explaining students about a topic very clearly and spending more time in the sections that they mostly struggle to do. I will move them towards current exam syllabus with the wide knowledge in each topic they want.

I would make sure my teaching wouldnt be boring by making them understand the topic using real life examples , videos and specially summarise notes to make sure they remember all key points.

My teaching method begins with explaining the topic we are learning and questioning the student as to what they think the topic is about. Whether they are correct of incorrect, once i explain what it is about they will remember what is in that topic during their exams based on the what they initially thought! This definitely worked for me whilst i completed my GCSE's.
The first few lessons are about getting to know the type of learner the student is. I also ascertain what aspects of the subject and level of support required by the student. I plan each lesson thoroughly, taking into consideration what works well for the student.
Best example I can give for RE/RS/Philosophy and ethics is to first go over the topic in detail for knowledge, then break the topic down to a few key points like, main idea, founder, quotes and examples. I would then go over how you would approach an exam question on the topic.
Going through every topic one by one and practice exam question on the same topic we just learned. After finishing a huge topic I expect all of the student to make a colourful summary sheet with minimal writing but a lot of diagrams which they can easy revisit come exam time.

I'm a top set GCSE student (year 10/Age 15) who wants to help children learn to read. I like to chat with students briefly at the beginning of lessons, enabling a rolemodel relationship to develop.
