I base my lessons on how I personally prepared for my examinations by completing and looking at a mixture of past exam papers and going over problem questions. Generally looking to help fix any weaknesses with particular subjects and help the student see where they've made mistakes.
The first few lessons are about getting to know the type of learner the student is. I also ascertain what aspects of the subject and level of support required by the student. I plan each lesson thoroughly, taking into consideration what works well for the student.
My approach to teaching is developing understanding of mathematics through the utilisation of exam style questions and practice papers, allowing the development of cognitive thinking while directly teaching exam technique and therefore the most efficient way of achieving optimal results.
Teachers must have theoretical and practical knowledge and abilities about science, learning, and science teaching.
Going through every topic one by one and practice exam question on the same topic we just learned. After finishing a huge topic I expect all of the student to make a colourful summary sheet with minimal writing but a lot of diagrams which they can easy revisit come exam time.
I give classes to all key stages. I believe in understanding the basics and real time relations. I strongly believe when we understand the basics strongly rest is all come with practice . Practicing is what i believe a lot .
i provide one to one tuition, online or in person, visits to student home, students are also allowed to study at my home when possible, group sessions are also available, mathematics, english, english literature, geography and science from elementary to year 11 . students learn studies as well as manners .
I can give maths lessons until Year 12 . I can teach the computer science logics as I worked on that platform.
My method of teaching is strictly teaching content of the subject and then helping the child practise till they are successful.
I prefer to go topic by topic, give loads of worksheets so that an individual has done enough practice. After this take a topic test to see whether my teaching has been effective.
I currently tutor students from Primary school up until GCSE in maths, chemistry and biology.
I teach maths and science up to A Level. I have a degree in Chemistry from Manchester and I have been tutoring for nearly seven years. I am successful because I have excellent communication skills, as well as the scientific knowledge. Every child learns differently, and if my students don't understand a topic I am not explaining it correctly.
I have just retired after more than 25 years of teaching in sixth form colleges in the independent sector. I teach 11 plus, 13 plus, KS3, GCSE and A level students. I always explain the topics, discuss few examples and do problem solving during the lessons. This is followed by some homework and solving past papers. It also helps them to learn exam techniques.
My teaching method is understanding the curriculum a student is being assessed on and where they lie within their grade boundaries so that we can work out the required steps and best route in order to achieve higher results.
My teaching method is breaking everything down into its simplest form and then approaching the concept/idea in small steps. In this way, the content becomes less overwhelming and is easier to understand.
I can prepare students for upcoming exams or assist in their homework. I specialise in helping students prepare for their GCSE maths exams. I'm very flexible and can even tutor during school holidays and weekends.
I believe in being patient with my students and allowing them enough time to think before offering my help or revealing the correct answer. I run a few mental maths tests at the beginning of each session, and quickly review the last session's work to ensure they have fully understood it before moving on.
I am a university student offering maths and english tuition to those in primary and secondary school. I have provided tuition in the past and have effectively learnt different ways to teach children- especially if they learn in a different way to others.
I base my class on allowing kids to strengthen their weaknesses and also make it interactive as possible, I will try using the newest as well as the simplest methods possible which will be effective. i will be an friendly tutor who would work with the student.
I do lessons based on activities and understanding the level of each student. Will be doing work sheets to practice everyday.
My teaching method involves encouraging students to think of the answer and lead them to the right direction rather giving them answers to help them learn better.
Having just sat my A-levels I am very familiar with the new way A-levels are taught as well as the new GCSE's. We will go over any concepts the student is finding challenging as well as go through exam style questions and exam technique. I am determined to help the student and will go over and above to ensure they understand the topic fully.
My focus is on giving students CONFIDENCE to tackle challenging questions, and encouraging them to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX rather than setting robotic tasks over and over again. I set regular assignments tailor-made to the students needs, with typical questions that may be set in school or by the exam board, and one or two more challenging "stretch questions".
