I like to approach each lesson differently to make sure the pupils stay interested. I do this by using various techniques for remembering information, as I am dyslexic myself I am knowledgeable of all the different ways to learn information. I like to approach my lessons in a more active way as I feel pupils or more likely to remember thingsif there is a story behind it.
My methodology is “if you expect a fish to climb a tree then it’ll spend its whole life failing” by this I mean that I cater to each individual student and explore new ways of learning with a class. I mix practical and academic to create a well rounded actor. The classes will be relaxed and create an environment for optimum learning.
I shall meet different students' needs and come up teaching plans with them. Music reading and playing techniques should be worked on at the same time. I prefer singing the notes while playing in order to build up the player's own concepts of pitch and rhythm.
