My teaching method is very interactive and dependent on an open relationship with the student. Usually to begin with I focus on topics the student, mother or school teacher has identified. Once these topics are clear I ensure the basic building blocks for the subject are secure so that the best base is built for growth and development within the subject.
My teaching method is to make lessons as interactive and engaging as possible. I use the Pomodoro technique which is simple yet is proven to be extremely helpful for students to retain as much information as possible. I am also a hard working and enthusiastic tutor who will always put 100% is helping students with there learning.
So the first lesson I assess the student and see which areas are the weakest and the strongest; I also I ask what confuses them the most and about their attitude towards maths. Then I go and prepare a whole maths program for them with everything they have told me, this usually lasts around 6 weeks but can be shorter or longer depending on the amount of help needed.
My method revolves around explaing why this is being taught and what its relevance in technology and the physical world. I ensure that the student understands the problem and I attempt to foster a problem solving methodology when approaching the provided questions.

My teaching method will be best suited for the individual. I can help them through videos, worksheets, online ext. My main aim is to achieve a minimum of 1-2 topic each lesson with all the information provided in the correct manner.
My teaching method is based on simplification, I use whiteboards and online tools (such as graphing websites), to break down topics into their fundemental aspects. This way, students learn not just what the answers to a question is, but why that is the answer. This way, students are more easily able to link methods between subject areas.

Maths does not always come easily to students, and so I will identify weaknesses in methodology and try and break down key subject areas into manageable 'chunks'. I will provide worksheets for key practice - all from the national curriculum syllabus.

I am a student at Durham University who tutors KS3, GCSE and A Level Maths and Physics. I am a patient tutor and our lessons will involve: - Developing understanding of problem topics. - Getting a headstart on topics to be covered in the upcoming year. - Improving exam technique and problem solving skills. - Practising exam questions.
My teaching method can be varied depending on the needs of the student. I generally start with background work giving examples then followed by practice questions. I will also help answer any questions regarding areas the student is finding difficult.
My teaching method is to put everything around general equations, teaching my students that there is no need for memorisation as long as there is sufficient practice.
I like to begin with identifying the areas the child feels most comfortable with and then what they find the hardest as it allows me to create a teaching plan which tackles the issues without dwelling on the things the child already knows well. I then create work sheets based on these areas and little quizzes to check information is being retained.
I like to get students to think and arrive at the answers themselves, giving helpful hints and asking relevent questions if needed. I use relatable metaphors to make concepts easier to understand and remember. I like to work on aptitude and how to think rather than just what to think, as this improves fluid intelligence and performance.
I am currently an undergraduate in aerospace engineering at the University of Surrey. I give math lessons to secondary and A-level students.
