Find Bachata lessons near me in Norwich

Most beginners find bachata easier to pick up than salsa or tango.

• The basic step uses eight counts: three steps and a tap on 4 and 8.
• The tempo is relaxed, which gives beginners room to find the beat.
• The body movement takes longer to master because it relies on soft knees and relaxed hips.
• Leading and following add a new challenge once you dance with a partner.

One-to-one bachata lessons let you practise at your own pace without the pressure of a busy group class.

Bachata teachers in Norwich typically charge £45/h.

This rate varies depending on several factors:

• Your skill level and the style you want to learn
• The instructor's background in Latin dance
• The package you choose (one-off or regular)
• Where the sessions take place

Online lessons are often more affordable while remaining effective.

The time it takes to learn bachata varies with your practice routine and dance background.

• The first few lessons are usually enough to learn the basic step and keep time with the music.
• After a couple of months, you start combining basic moves into short sequences.
• Half a year of steady practice is often enough to dance comfortably with different partners.
• Advanced styling and body waves keep you learning well beyond your first year.

One-to-one lessons focus on your weak points so every session moves you forward.
