My techniques and methods will consist of spending quality one to one time with students enabling me to help them with any topics or questions they find difficult as I believe the more time you spend with a student the better they will benefit in the long term.
My teaching method is very structured and I balance time between teacher led lessons as well as student led where students are given a chance to micro teach in pairs or groups as I feel that making lessons active makes them more engaging and memorable.
I like to give sample essays and help people understand them, showing them how to reach that level. I start each topic by asking students what they know about it, and I progress from there. I like to give structures and easy ways to remember how to structure essays or remember the rules in the languages.
I approach each lesson with the idea that every student is an individual in learning and the growth of a student takes time and structure unique to them. Learning should be fun and interactive and the understanding of knowledge comes from breaking down difficult texts and relating to the work personally and creatively.
