The combination of my patience and knowledge for the subject has taught me how to pass my knowledge onto peers. I will teach people to bring out themselves in their work, rather then pushing my style of work onto them.
Trained Artist and Teacher gives lessons in observational drawing and handwriting to adults and children, focusing on technique plus expression, to beginner and intermediate level. Through demonstration, explanation and questioning I teach you how to really look at the subject matter, how to compose pictures and use different materials in an expressive way.
My teaching method is seeing what level you are at by seeing samples of any of your recent artwork, which makes it easier to see where I can help the most if you want a tailored tutoring schedule. I also structure the learning by starting with drawing figures and breaking down each feature as simply as possible.
The lessons offered are varied. From Fine line portrait drawing to 3D anamorphic designs. The taster sessions allow you to try out and explore which practice of drawing you would like to develop. They will take you through one , two and three point perspective drawing and how this can be used to develop portrait/character and 3D/anamorphic styles of working.
I will attempt to channel the air of creativity in you, art isn’t necessarily about the execution, but your imagination.
I Taught art to myself from a young age. From 15 I was being paid to tutor younger kids, I find simple and repetitive, getting more complex each time works best for beginners. However pushing your creative boundaries once you have the hang of it, will always be key.
Whether you just want to learn to draw, or deepen your skills, I have an easy method to get you fired up, and drawing. I also give lessons in Renaissance-style painting for those with a serious interest or desire to paint. I will help you remove the obstacles that may have held you back in the past, and help you find and develop your own style of expression.
we'll go through fundamentals: (line shape, light and shadow, texture,) figure drawing: (Gesture drawing, human anatomy male and female figure) head drawing: (male and female head) drapery and others: (clothes, cars, planes, bikes, basically anything) digital art: PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR, procreate.
I teach art in a form which I was never taught myself. I specialise in pencil drawings and oil paintings but I can use other medium upon request. I give lessons to children and secondary school students who need the extra support to pass their Art exams.
You will be able to improve or learn how to draw or paint, since the second lesson you will start to see the results,

Patiennce is key and letting you have fun, teaching different techniques, but to always let the student have his or her own initative, with praise when needed
I will firstly go through basic concepts firstly, then advance in techniques. Also I’ll encourage you to find your own style and explore different artists to create experiment with. I’ll suggest adjustments to ur pieces to improve, giving constructive criticism when needed.
I am a multidisciplinary professional with experience ranging from Fine Art Tutoring & Art Studio Practice - To Art History & English Literature. Apart from my Artistic expertise... I also have a comprehensive knowledge & work experience in many other disparate areas from Interior Design to the supervision of various Online Graphic Art projects...
The best way to improve or learn is to understand WHY you are doing something. Without that information, it becomes meaningless.
Lessons are individualized and designed to meet your needs. My approach to the arts is very much supportive and interactive, based on the premise that it is the journey rather than the end product that is the important thing. I hope my sessions are not only educational but enjoyable. I am also a nurse midwife and trained in basic skills so would be ideally suited to special educational needs.
My methodology is based on working with individual passions and strengths, introducing idea generation techniques (helping get out of that artists block!) and working with marking regulations in a way that does not stunt creativity! I will cover relevant art history, concept wording and art techniques such as drawing, painting, printmaking ect.
