07(concealed information) - Which subject(s) do you teach? I am primarily a Piano teacher, I teach at home, at a local music school and in a studio in Gravesend. I teach all ages and abilities. I mainly teach popular music styles, including jazz, blues, funk and rock/pop music but I am classically trained and teach from both the Rockschool and ABRSM Syllabus.
I can teach music theory and music reading but I prefer to get students playing tunes as quickly and easily as possible using a simple method called "tab" where the fret number of the note is written on a diagram showing the 6 strings. It can be learned in one session. All the tabs I write have proper music notation above to show note lengths and rests.

I am an experienced acoustic guitar player with 20 years of playing experience. For years I have been performing live in groups / as a solo project and teaching adult and young students. I like to help my students enjoy and love guitar and music in general, as in my experience this helps players to grow and flourish musically.
I am a graduate of BIMM Brighton Music College (Sussex University). I am also a professional musician giving guitar lessons. My 1 - 1 lessons are tailored to your needs. Whether you are just starting out or want to build on your existing skills, I'm certain I can help you.
