I am a patient and supportive teacher who will work with the student to reach their desired language goal. Before we begin lessons, we will chat about what you want to achieve and how you prefer to learn as a student.
I base my lessons on your own individual needs. We can work together and decide on what the right course of action is in order to prepare for GCSE exams and work on what you need to learn. Each lesson is unique and designed specifically for the need and level of each student.
*I am a 28 y.o Frenchie and I'm currently working in London in an international school. *I am part of the admin team and I supervise pupils from 5 to 18 years old. I can sometimes cover for a lesson and teach (mostly primary). *I have a master's degree in teaching that I completed in Lyon.
I think the best way to learn a language is to dive into the culture but also to converse with people. This way you get a better approach of the language. French is a difficult language and I think, it is better to approach it in a fun way and of course explain how it works as we go along.
I really love French! It is my first language and it will forever stick with me always. Even though it is my first language, I have studied it from primary school and I'm still doing it as degree with law! I really want to share the love of the French language with students of a younger age, even though learning another language can be really difficult.
My approach is interactive and I work with movies clips, radio shows, texts, pictures... I think that a teacher must start with the basics (grammar, conjugation ...), then with meaning and vocabulary and in the end, fluency and pronounce.
I have taught students through KS3 and KS4 with varying ability levels. I am very exams and skills focused. I place a big emphasis on memory and techniques for remembering key vocabulary which can be recycled in any scenario.
I think that a good teacher is a teacher that listen and understand where the student come from and which skills he/she already have and improve them. Very patient, I have many different approaches that will be adapted to the student.
There’s nobody who can understand the difficulties faced while learning a foreign language than a person who has actually been through it. I’ve studied French as a student for five years, and have a passion for it.

I am a gap-year student with a French A-level looking for tutoring work in the South Woodford are. I am looking to tutor students up to and including GCSE level French, with a focus on spoken language. There would be an emphasis on grammar and sentence construction, especially in written work, as well as plenty of opportunities to improve speaking and listening skills.
Before the first class I normally ask the student what they want to focus on and work from there. From grammar explanation, to vocabulary lists I can provide anything that the student wants and am completely happy to work around topics that they want to study. I can look over (longer) pieces of writing if necessary and correct and explain spellings.

For a one hour session, I prepare a focused but varied class, during which the student and I will touch on a lot of different skills necessary in order to master French. Especially with languages, I believe it is important to balance out reading, speaking, listening and writing skills in order to fully understand the different aspects of the French language.

I'll be happy to help you improve your level of written or oral French, to help you prepare for exams and work on your accent, build your vocabulary, help you understand literary texts or simple conversations, and work on any specific skill you wish to acquire.
I've taught 4 different students (9, 15 and 18) with different objectives, one of them had special needs. I tend to follow the traditional French way to teach, that is to say: 1. An activity to discover the subject of the lesson (video, picture...) which aims to create an interest in what the student is going to learn that day and to help them finding and fixing vocabulary. 2.

My teaching methodology is based on the understanding of each one’s needs, weaknesses and strengths, in order to improve studying potentials of the students. I will also provide exercises to help the student’s comprehension on the choosen topics.
