Most learners agree the subjunctive causes the greatest difficulty. It expresses doubt, emotion, necessity, or hypothetical situations rather than facts.

• Trigger phrases — Expressions like "il faut que", "je veux que", or "bien que" require the subjunctive.
• Irregular stems — The most-used verbs often have irregular conjugations in this mood.
• Practice tip — Start with fixed expressions and learn them as chunks.

With consistent exposure, your brain starts identifying patterns automatically.

• How tuition is delivered (online, at home, or at the tutor's location)

Many tutors offer discounted rates when you book multiple sessions in advance. Quite a few tutors give a free first lesson so you can check the fit before committing.
