My teaching method is on a one-to-one basis, incorporating how the student learns best (through visual means, videos or presentations). I find mindmaps and flashcards are very useful when it comes to revision as well as practice papers and quizzes to make it more fun.
I am knowledgable on how the exam boards set out their key criteria and mark schemes, therefore I can provide the best tutor service possible. I am open and easy to talk to, I make sure all my students are happy with their progression and never feel disheartened in their journey to get the best grades possible.

Hi, my name is Adam. I am a Cambridge graduate, having studied Geography at Gonville & Caius College. The geography course at Cambridge is extremely diverse and broad whilst allowing for a detailed focus on topics of interest.
My teaching method is slow, steady and methodical. Everything will be broken down; essay plans and formulas will be created together. There will be lots of past papers and fun games to assist learning.
As a BA Geography undergraduate at the University of Birmingham, I have the subject knowledge to tutor students at A-Level, GCSE and below. Having been through the UK's education system myself, I understand the pressures of the increasingly difficult A-Level and GCSE subject content, and am most familiar with the AQA exam board, whilst being able to adapt to other exam specifications also.
Currently studying for a bachelor's degree in Geology and Physical Geography, I have experience with tutoring both physical and human geography from KS3 across to Advance Level. My expertise lies within the physical field of the discipline, nethertheless a profound understanding in human geography comes from interests and modules taken at university.
I am adapting my method to the student age, studies, method of learning and real needs. I want the students to enjoy what they are doing and have a full understanding of each topic. It is crucial for me to let people enjoy the class, it is the best way to learn.
My preferred method of teaching involves a white board and pens: I like a very diagrammatic approach to learning, as I've found a visual way of imparting information to be the most effective in retaining it. I'm also competent in producing worksheets for both class usage and home time.
My teaching method includes setting important core readings to openly and critically discuss together, and establishing ways of connecting different social theories across scholarships to put together a cohesive and interesting answer to essays and exam questions. At university level, is difficult to simply follow a set formula to achieve top results.
Geography teaching with a passion for my subject and current affairs. I aim to teach focusing upon individual needs and abilities. Enthusiastic and knowledge across a range of Human and physical topics. Experienced tutor and teacher having worked in some of England's top schools.
If you are looking for a tutor who has time for you as an individual and who will strive to help you succeed, then please feel free to browse my profile. I will be more than happy to answer any queries if anything is not clear.
Soon to graduate from the University of Birmingham after studying Geography and Urban Planning, I aim to tutor and guide Geography students at AS or A-level. I believe my tutoring methods of useful revision techniques help to not only aid the understanding of topics but also help form a distinctive method for exam preparation.
I am giving sessions to a level students, GCSE and primary school students. The lesson structure would start with the student explaining where they believe their weakest points are, and then I would help them strengthen their weaker points. The student would lead the lesson.
Leaning styles to suit each student. Lots of resources and skills to help pass exams and develop a full understanding of the subject. I will quickly establish the levels of understanding and tailor a package to develop knowledge.
I approach each topic by asking what they struggle on, then prepare a simple test, so I can see their knowledge level. After that, I will be able to undedstand more and work on the areas that aren't as solid, and after a couple of lessons another test will be placed to show progress.
One of the methods I would aim to use is that of using past papers to help improve grades - so that students are able to write two points and explain. I would also use thinks like mysteries to help learn basic concept - ie relating to rivers or coasts.
I have a competent understanding of how to deliver tutoring as during my A level studies I was homeschooled for part of my course. My study style is student-led by which I can help to fill knowledge gaps in areas that the student most struggles with.
