As a Hellenistic period purist, I would prefer to teach sitting outside in the courts of the Agora - in the style of Socrates - but these are very different times! I feel philosophy is best explored, not dictated, so my methods normally involve open-floor discussions and thought experiments.

I base my lessons on what topics the students already know and on how well they now them. I produce my own resources such as work sheets and I would advise the students to make as many notes as they can on theses. After two weeks I would plan a test to see how well they have obtained the information I have given to them in the following lessons.
