I plan to give out tasks initially to work out where my students may require the most help.
My teaching method is fully one to one interaction to ensure learning is taking place at an optimum level. I tailor the lessons to the student's unique learning style and ensure they are well prepared for any exam/assessment or are just very confident in the subject, for whichever outcome they decide to use it for.
I work primarily with GCSE students and take a skills-based approach, chunking material when necessary until students have consolidated the key requirements of the syllabus. I aim to build a positive working relationship and to build students' confidence by highlighting what they are doing well and the progress they are making.
I am offering my support to GCSE and Alevel students. I base my tutoring around your weak points in order to pull your grade up. My lessons aim to put you at ease and feel confident ready for your examinations. I focus on key skills within each lesson so that you are equipped with the knowledge needed to become a master of English.
I teach using lots of practical methods and use my drama background to engage all children within my kinesthetic and exciting lessons.
I teach each student individually, even when physically within a group. Understanding that each student is different, I approach each class with a renewed perspective. I teach mainly high school and university students but I am willing to teach anyone.
I believe strongly that the practical elements in learning are more beneficial than explanation as it can quickly lead to confusion. I believe in assessing the child’s interests outside of academia and utilise them within lessons to engage the students and help them remember what was taught even during the activities they enjoy .
I have been tutoring and teaching for a number of years and try to cater my lessons around the specific needs of the students I teach. When meeting a new student I will take the time to get to know them and how I can gear learning to get the results they want.
I am a patient teacher who likes to inspire children to reach their full potential.
I will identify weaknesses and work on those. I will also carefully research the relevant syllabus and gear lessons relevant to that. I will work on a one to one basis. I teach primary age children. Work from home.
I'm a first year university student with the intention of working towards a 2:1 minimum in my degree. I have a laid-back, friendly approach to put students at ease and prefer to work informally in that I will plan sessions according to the student's needs at the time.
My teaching methods vary, I usually tailor my methods to each person, dependent upon what they feel they need help with etc. This means that each person receives the best standard of tutoring.
I try to make my lessons enjoyable and show children rather than simply tell what we are learning. I use games for younger children and a lot of praise for motivation.
My teaching method stems from my experiences as a student having taken my GCSE's and A-Level fairly recently. I base my classes around each individual student, in every initial class I will outline the students needs and set targets and plan a syllabus around that.

My approach for tutoring primary/high school students is to assess the basics (spelling/grammar/reading) on the first lesson to find out which particular area(s) they're struggling with, and then structure the next couple lessons around improving that area. I work with them on what they're currently doing in English class at school, and motivate them to get ahead.
I'm quite young which is great for students around or below my age. I'm very friendly, likable and get along well with everyone I meet! I have a projected grade of 6 in English and a 5 in Maths.
