I like to base my lessons around the student's needs. So, if you were to tell me that you struggle with close reading or language features, I would design a set of lessons that will introduce the basic concepts and then work towards an A* grade answer. I would like to spend some time with my students in order to completely understand their needs and the way they learn.
I am able to give lessons to students up to A-level, as this is the level to which I studied; I have no preference for topics, however poetry is my passion. Due to the abstract nature of literature, I prefer to begin lessons by encouraging a student to provide me with their own interpretation of a piece of writing (Eg. what do the blue curtains signify here).
I offer lessons to A-Level students and below, at all levels.

Note: I do NOT offer lessons via webcam, there isn't a relevant option for me to tick. My methods of teaching are casual and steady to begin with, as I believe that any improvement in English as a whole should be encouraged with use of a friendly, conversational step-by-step approach to the language.
