I love teaching - either adults or young people, face-to-face or online. I particularly enjoy supporting people individually according to their needs. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach English, Philosophy, Thinking skills including preparation for the LNAT, the BMAT and the Thinking Skills assessment, study skills, English as a foreign language. - Tell me about your qualifications.
My teaching method is purely dependant upon the child, I will adjust my lessons to accommodate for their learning needs in order to provide the most interactive sessions possible. This will be done by monitoring their confidence and performance in all required areas.
My teaching is unique and differentiated to the individual. Having been a Subject Leader of History (and Humanities) for over a year, and being in my third year of teaching, I am well accustomed to the assessment materials and standards necessary to achieve success.
I give lessons to those who are at beginner or intermediate level. I offer help with understanding and forming arguments for and against modern ethical practices, from abortion to (reasons for) judicial punishment to (what counts as) consent.
Hi there! I have A level qualifications in Psychology and have undertaken further undergraduate degree level modules in Psychology, therefore have extensive knowledge on the subject. Psychology is something I am passionate about and thoroughly enjoy, hence would love to tutor others who share the same enthusiasm as myself and want to learn more.
I am a tutor specialising in English literature and language, but have also taught a wide range of subjects from GCSE through to Undergraduate level. I like to tailor my lessons to individual needs (particularly if students require help for specific deadlines/examinations) and am quick to identify problems with work and their solutions.
My teaching method centres on guiding the candidate to find effective learning methods for themselves based upon what I found useful throughout secondary school. I am very talkative and seek to create strong bonds with my tutees, in order to best find what works for them.
