I want to teach through exciting examples taken from rich Polish culture. I will be strict though - every class will commence with a mini oral test.
I am an enthusiastic online non-native English teacher. I have been teaching English online since 2010. I have taught children as well as adults. I have a master’s degree in education from the University of Wroclaw, Poland, Philology, Linguistics Jul 1974. After 40 years of teaching, I grow into an experienced online professional tutor. I specialize in Conversational English.
WHY: I love to change people’s perspective how they learn new skills and languages HOW: during weekly sessions we mix different language skills from materials I provide with theory&practice of learning skills I’ve been testing on my students for the last 3.5 years WHAT: Learning is my main hobby and I specialise in teaching Polish to adult students.
My teaching method is simple and clean. I always start with vocabulary to show that Polish language is not as simple as some people think. I base my classes on a book 'POLISH - familiarization and Short-term training' written by two polish authors which has useful steps and explains Polish language.
I base my teaching methods on the methods of scouts, I let pupils learn on their own mistakes and help understand them. in my opinion there no tutor should punish their pupil for a mistake, but let them understand it and when they do it right next time prize them.
I base my lessons on a mixture of methods and approaches to meet the different needs of learners and the different aims of lessons or courses. Factors in deciding how to teach include the age and experience of learners, lesson and course objectives, expectations and resources.
I am the kind of person that believes that every student deserves support and understanding, because they turn to you for help after all, and they depend on you. I am very determined to be there for my students and treat them with respect, whilst encouraging them to build self confidence and expand on what they'd learnt.
My methodology depends on the need of the student(s). Whether they are beginners or already have some knowledge of the language, whether they want to be able to communicate as quickly as possible, or master the grammatical part of Polish - I am flexible in adjusting my teaching methods to the specific situation.
My teaching method is to concentrate on individuals. Monitor progress and set up an intensive learning plan to achieve desired goals. Professional support and coaching are available at all levels of study. Lessons instructors are clear and easy to understand.
I start each session no cost to identify the learners strong and weak learning mi points then I give them a proposed schedule of how I will teach them so they learn quickly but efficiently and and succeed rapidly. As to the ones that have longer learning deffeciencies I don't charge more and spend more time with the person so they get everything right.
The style of teaching depends on your Polish level. But generally, I prefer focusing on speaking and understanding what Polish people say. With the passing of time, you are getting better and better Polish speaker and get more grammar and orthography exercises.
During a Polish language lesson we migh decide to do: -memory techniques -grammar in theory and practice -pronunciation exercises -small literature talks -translating workshops -essay writing workshops -using graphs and labels -practicing reading out loud a given text -learning through media
I am willing to give lessons to anyone who wants to learn Polish. I think that each person is different and that is why I want to carry out individual lessons with each person in order to meet their needs.
As I am a linguist I would love to share my experience and learning methods with those willing to improve their language skills. I would be happy both to help younger individuals: primary, secondary school students and adults, who learn a foreign language for passion and interest.
I am perfectly aware that Polish is not easy. At all. The lessons then will be a mix of basics such as vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening and reading, and of getting to know culture and history by reading books, recommending music, films, YT videos and so on.
I will teach you a lot of vocabulary and we start from basic phrases. Speaking is a clue, so we will put a lot of effort into this. We will be writing and reading a lot. Classes will be chilly and qualitative.
Its hard to describe my teaching methodology as I treat each person as an individual, I get to meet their needs, strenghts and weaknesses and try out few methods to come up with the one thats working for them.
I tailor my teaching approach to each student's needs. With some students lessons are more informally presented as a conversational chat. With other students repetition of work from textbooks is more useful. Please contact me so we can find the best time for our lesson.
In order to approach each student accordingly I ask them to try to list their strengths and weaknesses. After that I prepare them a mind map on their weaker areas and work through examples with them. To make sure that progress is well made I carry out a little 5-10 minutes quiz at start of each class about the topic and then carry it out again at the end with some extra questions.
My classes are based on the Wirral in New Ferry. My teaching method is based on printed pictures, dialogues, word games and translating popular songs. I make sure that lessons are accurate to students level. Lessons very often are filled with fun.
I am an eager language learner and I am fluent in many. My strong point is polish and would love to teach early gcse students.
Whether you know some basics of Polish already or want to start from the beginning, do not worry. I want to make sure I understand my students' level and improve on it. I do not mind giving lessons online or in person. I want to try to find the easiest way for each individual to learn something and make sure my lessons are interesting and bring satisfying results.
I base all the teaching depending on the student’a needs and abilities. I, being a student myself, understand how important it is to get to know what is the easiest way to learn the topic for a student.
I try to choose method which it is suitable for my pupil. I bring materials and I try new methods with some videos, and books.
My classes depend on the student and are tailored to individual needs. I like using creativity, play and use practical examples. I use coaching techniques to motivate, inspire students and remove any obstacles they might have in achieving their goals.
I adjust my lessons based on the needs of the student. I believe that everyone learns in different ways at different speed therefore one approach does not apply to all. I like to give mini tests to students on weekly basis just to monitor their progression and knowledge. I am a calm and patient person and believe in stress free lessons.
I am rather a patient and calm tutor who can support either beginners or more fluent learners. I will make sure we both have fun while studying. We will definitely be trying to talk a lot rather than base on written exercises.
I use a lot of different methods but always I try to find the best for each student. Prefer to use modern methods based on neurodidactics knowledge, With younger children I use teaching with play, what gives amazing results.
I use the centered person approach so I make sure what the person first needs then I concentrate on what exactly are the learning skills of the person and then I adjust the teaching method to the person, so if the person need a conversation skills I would give couple of subjects and then the person would have to answer my questions using the vocabulary provided
My classes are based on "Polski. Krok po kroku" book that is most up to date book for Polish language students. This book biggest asset are: clear grammar tables, grammar problems instinctively explained in dialog, up to date vocabulary. It is a perfect tool for both individual or group lessons.
