Since I am nearing the final year of my undergraduate, I will give Psychology and English lessons only upto A-levels - this includes GCSEs and above. I am professional, organised and patient. I understand everyone has their own style of learning, and will base my lessons around individual students to help you be most effective and successful in your learning.
I have studied Psychology for over 6 years so far. I am currently studying BSc Undergraduate Psychology and am in my 2nd year. One reason why I particularly enjoy Psychology is due to the understanding of thoughts and feelings of individuals and groups which can be applied to situations involving social aspects, for instance. My previous experience of Psychology involves an A Level and GCSE.
Will go through everything from the beginning. Can teach in whatever way you find easiest. Would go through each module and each theory and counter-argument separately, just how I was taught. Will include how to plan and write up an essay if you want it and am very efficient with grammar, so I can also help with that.
I am Recognised as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), therefore I have experience teaching in a manner that enhances experience and learning. I often teach through Skype sessions, though other online methods are fine.
I aim my lessons at A Level and AS level students. A lot of the course content at AS/A Level standard in Psychology is case study-based, therefore case studies will be focused on in great detail during lessons. Additionally, structure of answers and writing technique will be concentrated on to ensure the student has the best opportunity of achieving the top grades.
As a qualified teacher of history and geography with QTS, I am able to offer one to one or small groups sessions, KS3 GCSE revision; homework clubs. Can also offer family and local history research tips, guidance and support.
I will teach anyone who is currently studying Psychology up to Undergraduate level and Sociology up to A Level who needs more tuned support and guidance. Lessons will consist of Skype chats, videos, games, discussion and homework. Tailored to suit you.
I aim to make sure that my lessons are as interactive as possible, by including activities etc. it ensures that students are engaged and absorbing as much information as possible. A webclass would normally consist of 15mins going through tricky concepts etc, and the rest of the session will be spent on applying that knowledge to exam style questions.
I teach in a way that is different for each student, I alter my approaches depending on how they learn best and their abilities
My teaching methodology is mixed in that I will try to tailor it to the individual- I enjoy being challenged and so would use challenging stimuli and questions
