I am currently a university student but also a professional in a healthcare setting. I offer lessons in a style that suits the student. Available are mind maps, presentations, notes and other materials which can all be tailored to suit all needs. There is no rush, I am very patient and teach at the pace of the student.
I am a qualified teacher of Psychology and Sociology with a degree in Psychology. I am also a PDW co-ordinator so familiar with the content and delivery of PSHE education. I pride myself on being an innovative educator with a particular interest in creating new ways of breaking down information for students who have perhaps struggled to access content in the traditional classroom setting.
Lessons will be based on what the student requires, working from the minimum understanding to the more complex areas of psychological research, whilst also teaching how to research their own project and help develop their abilities in the areas required for their particular goal.
I am currently in my second year of university studying for a Psychology Degree. I previously undertook Psychology at both GCSE and A-level so have a deep understanding of the subject. Lessons would either take place at home or online, and would involve learning the content suited to your specification and covering exam techniques.
My teaching method depends entirely on the student and how they learn, whether that be visually, audibly or through creating memory palaces and stories to enhance creativity but also ensure maximum learning
I am a sixth form student of a local grammar school willing to assist with the subjects listed. My methods of teaching will involve: - learning key vocabulary for test conditions - Providing useful memory strategies to retain the information being taught - one on one information testing. - thorough reading of a subject and questions aimed at working out the weaknesses or lack of knowledge.
I am a gap year student and I have just obtained an A* in Sociology and I want to help students who are currently doing AS or A level to help them get the grade they want. My teaching style would be 1 to 1 testing on exam questions, quizzes of key terms, flash cards and general discussion around the subject.
Psychology A Level is notoriously specific and requires a large skill set in essay writing, research methods, and knowledge of theories and studies. My lessons would be largely discussion based, which forms the basis of essay writing for psychology and invites strong evaluation of theories and studies.
