I am currently a Psychology undergraduate student, teaching Psychology up to A Level as well as other subjects to varying levels. I teach in a student led manner; taking the time to understand how best the student learns then preparing lessons and exercises accordingly.
My teaching method is based on trying to find the easiest way to explain things to students because being a student myself sometimes teachers explain things in a complicated way that is hard to understand, yet there are different ways to go around it. I also base my teaching experiences on my own and what has worked with my siblings and myself and what didn't work as well.
I am happy to give lessons to all abilities, as I believe everyone can achieve their goals if they set their minds to it. I use a range of techniques including visual aids and cue cards. I am happy to tailor techniques dependent on the individual.
I have been tutoring all ages in Maths and English in person and online 3 years. I focus on positively encouraging and engaging students, focusing on improving grades and confidence. I also tutor psychology, science and history. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths and English from Key Stage 1 to GCSE. I also tutor 11+ maths, psychology, science and history.
- Classes Children follow a programme, the starting point being determined by an initial assessment. The basic programme is Maths & English - from number recognition to GCSE algebra. It includes topics such as shape, time, measurement, area/perimeter, series, etc. We will also help with applied topics as required.
My teaching method is fundamentally collaborative. The pupil and I will identify the areas which need the closest attention and work together to create a comprehensive overview of their subject in accordance with the curriculum and exam specifications. The most important thing a pupil can take away from our sessions is a growing sense of confidence in their ability to master the subject.
I am a qualified teacher, committed to helping children and adults increase their knowledge, skills and confidence to enable them to achieve their full potential.
The classes will focus on a wide range of Western and non-Western philosophic texts and explore different methods and themes of philosophy. The student will gain the following skills through the course of the classes: - Reading and analysing philosophic texts. - Writing philosophic texts and articles. - Applying philosophical methods and concepts to real world event and affairs.
I have just graduated university with a Upper second class Bachelors degree in Psychology. I have 11 A-C GCSE's and 3 A-Levels in Psychology, Biology and Photography. I aim to tailor tutoring sessions around the individual, making them fun and enjoyable for all levels of education.
My students consider me a highly effective teacher. I am experienced, well organised, motivated, enthusiastic, very supportive, with a good sense of humour; I establish rapport with my students.
My teaching methodology is much more excellent when am in class or when I talk to someone face to face
I am looking to utilise my experiences in education to support children and young people with their academic achievement and social and emotional development. I am available for one off sessions, and short and long term bookings.
As a student, I understand the pressure's of school and sixth form, I have just finished my A levels (Government and Politics, Biology and Psychology) and am going to Birmingham university to do Psychology in September. I am predicted A's in my subjects and I think I have good revision strategies and learning tips to help other students succeed in these subjects.
I can offer extra support for students, breaking down any module in psychology, into a concise and easy to learn experience. I can do this through presentations, academic research handouts and enabling the student to gain familiarity with the modular content, through mock exam preparation and research skills enhancements.
My method is by using more humorous ways to remember things and with repetition on these they have been proven to make memories last longer.
My teaching method depends greatly on each individual child. I understand that not everyone learns in the same way, so I try to accommodate all learning styles. Whether you are an auditory, visual, verbal or physical learner. I aim to find a way to teach in the easiest way for you.
The best approach to teaching is to supply your students with the belief that they are able to succeed if they put their mind, efforts and hard work into something. My classes are oriented by the student and areas in which they are struggling in but, I provide the support and aid to help them and highlight key areas for improvement.
My teaching method involves approaching each topic and module through discussions, presentations, examples, case studies.
My teaching method aims to break larger concepts down to the core concepts, and put them in everyday context. Depending on the exact subject and level of help needed, I also support concepts with research, and show you how to critically analyse this.
My teaching methodology depends on the pace of the individual and what approach suits best for them. For example some may prefer reading out from a textbook and then breaking it down into simpler or understandable words followed by practical examples or using a presentation and delivering a lecture. Either way there is always a chance to ask questions and get concepts clear.
Simply if children are able to invest in the idea of learning, there is no limit to what they can achieve. I implement this in the classroom, engaging students with the content and ensuring that they actively process the information. I do this by introducing creative mechanisms and games to gain this investment and motivation.
I can give my lessons to students at GCSE, A level and university level. My method of teaching depends on the student. However, every student is different and I work out their strengths and weaknesses and build on that.
I have been teaching for nearly eight years and worked in various educational settings. I have previously worked as a teaching assistant in primary schools and managed a tuition centre for children between 5-14. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I tutor Phonics, English, Maths and prepare students for their 11+ and SATs exams. I also tutor Italian at all levels.
I'm a gap year student and I recently finished my A-levels with grades A*AAA in Sociology, Psychology, English Literature and Media Studies. I'm a keen and understanding tutor who is willing to go at your pace to make sure you achieve the grades you desire.
I like to adapt my teaching style to what the student is interested in as well as focus on areas that they find necessary/interesting
Having only just finished sixth form, I am very familiar with how tedious GCSE and A-Levels can be.
I have experience in supporting adults with autism to learn both psychology and any material that they are struggling with. I will always go at your own pace and structure lessons however works for you. For me, the key to learning is to enjoy the subject matter and to find fun ways of engaging with the material.
I have taught in Further Education and Sixth Form Colleges. My teaching method is to encourage students to be active participants in their own learning and educaton through discussions, research and choosing examples that are relevant and interesting to the Learner.
My lessons are personalised according to your academic needs. I review essay/dissertation structuring, referencing and writing style as standard as this can be a straightforward and rapid way of improving academic performance. I can offer advice on research project design and methodology. I support students in understanding statistical analyses and how to perform these in SPSS & Excel.
I'm currently studying towards a degree in psychology, and have a proven track record in getting good grades in my GCSE's. i will take the time with each child or teenager, explain things through clearly, give them helpful tasks so they can understand their topic more clearly and lead them in the right direction to be able to gain full knowledge of the module or subject they're on.
