I’m a London based artist who teaches short courses at Central St Martins. I also teach privately, one to one either in person or by Skype. My specialities are drawing, portfolio preparation, 3d and sculpture. I have taught all age groups from 6 year olds to 70 year olds but mostly my students are preparing for art college.
What On Earth Is This Workshop? It will help you to design a city from your imagination and unleash your creativity. Depending on the tools at hand, you will be able to visualise your city using drawing, model making, 3d graphics, 3d printing, Lasercutting and even VR world building.
I believe in teaching naturally to the students wants and needs. I adapt and change all sessions in relation to the students level. I will always motivate my students to the best of their abilities and want them to achieve their best possible outcomes. I believe everybody is capable of learning, if they are given the resources and encouragement to learn.
My teaching method depends entirely on the student. I am invested into the psychology of learning, particularly neuroplasticity, and can offer a very personal, efficient and effective way of learning.
My teaching is based on idea development classes, integrating contemporary art and themes into my teaching requires a shift from predominantly technique-driven instruction to idea-driven instruction. Many artists do not work in a single medium or technique and instead try to explore an idea, event, situation, or question through multiple media and visual strategies; I encourage this methodology.
My teaching method is to get to know the individual first, see what they need help with, and then go from there. I am experienced in various subjects involving the visual arts and would be more than happy to help develop other students abilities.
I base my approach on a partnership very much under the humanist philosophy of building empathy and trust, geared to involve the learner at each stage of the decision making process. Through building up a rapport with students i can adapt my methodology towards individual learning styles.
I combine my teaching style between demonstration and encouragement of the student. It is important that the student is engaged and challenged, they must be guided to learn and improve their skill sets. I can structure the lessons to match the individual learners requirements and have regularly taught up to Levels 3/4 on varied curriculums.
I take an individual approach to each project as the process will be unique.

I teach very fluidly, allowing students to become comfortable with abstract drawing styles and techniques, and encouraging the development of a personal style of abstraction for drawing and design. In later lessons we can begin working paper drawings into 3D drawings, layered drawings, repeat patterns on photoshop, jewellery and sculpture.
My approach to teaching is student led. I teach students what they need to know and what they are interested in. I can teach Art from 3 years old to adults. I can teach to any British examination board. I have skills in most Art mediums my favourites being, painting, drawing, textiles and sculpture.
I'm looking to give classes to individuals who want to have some fun while learning more about art. The lesson structure will be decided upon after getting a sense of the level at which the students are at. There will be practical work in which full creative freedom will be given to the students.

I'm an animation student who is currently going for her Bachelor degree. With many years of illustration to show as experience, I tend to help people in a positive manner by encouraging progress and open for any question regarding the lesson. Time is at our side and whomever I teach should never feel rushed in their development.
My teaching method is to tailor make the lessons to the student's needs, while setting them on the right path for top marks. My lessons consist on the sharing of ideas, the expectations of the exams, and the best way to make the art work more special to the student.
I will teach the most basic sculpture (folk figurines - foxes, cats, dogs). Later I can about more complex sculpture - human. You will need very basic materials for the lessons: air dry clay or Plasticine, and some basic clay carving tools you can buy in any book/DIY store. Optional is acrylic paint set - any colours you like/or needed for your project.
My teaching method is tailored to the individual, focusing on their strengths and improving their weaknesses through multi-disciplined, interactive experience. Overall the classes are laid back, enjoyable and there's plenty of tea and talk. I teach a range of fun activities, from drawing and calligraphy to sculpture and logo creation.
As my background is in scenic design, I tend to work quite large. Perhaps you want to learn how to paint backdrops, or perhaps you aspire to exhibit smaller pieces in galleries. I’ll help you to identify what your niche is, find your style and help guide you through the steps you need to take to take your painting to the next level.

Whether you want to dip your toe in the arts just to give things a go, or you're already on your way and need some guidance, I'm here to help. I'm a very friendly Animation graduate from the UK who would love to spread my love for arts and crafts by helping others.
I find what each students abilities are and help them find grounds to reach their potential. Approach their work in a positive way, this will allow them to make confident decisions and in turn create better work. Learning the fundamentals of art is essential and to get a rich understanding of this to start with is key in providing efficient progression.
I strongly believe in giving a student something tangible to work towards. I approach each lesson with the specific needs of the student in mind while assigning them homework tasks they can go away and do to help them progress further. I also believe in providing the student with extra knowledge or resources so that they can develop further through self study.
I have a creative teaching approach to allow students to gain confidence and realise their capabilities.I would be very suitable to help young creatives completing secondary and further education in art. I will go through projects to help students realise how they could progress work.
My teaching methodology is not only based on my drive to offer an efficient way of assimilating information, simplifying concepts and ensuring constructive feedback, but also offering constant support, availability and openness for help request and questions.
My teaching methods are all about encouraging students to explore and experiment with their choices of subject and medium. I challenge them to recognise that we often draw or paint what we expect to see not what we actually see. It's good to throw out the rule book and create outside your comfort zone. I will always encourage students to really stretch their capabilities.
I bass my classes on what are my students goals, helping them over the process with fun and interesting way of learning
My teaching method is to be friendly and open to ideas. An artwork is formed out of imagination and it is not my right to control the way that imagination can be used. My job is to teach the concepts, methods of painting, different styles and ways to approach art, and of course, to provide more ideas.
Depending on what is needed from the student, I am able to assist in technical aspects of producing art as well as the planning and work behind a ,for example A Level or IB, student's coursework. This depends on what is needed from the student.
