My teaching method is easy going and fun. I aim to create an environment where students can feel comfortable and always aim to meet every students individual needs and objectives.
I am able to teach basic to semi complex Spanish, which can be particularly useful in GCSE situations or for younger children. I think that with lessons, a thorough and simple approach to Spanish is best- lots of vocab learning, unfortunately, but fun topics too! I will try my best to help and teach you as best as I possibly can.
My teaching method is mainly learning from books and sometimes I use facetime or a video chat to see students progression every month. I really enjoy Spanish and I love helping others and seeing them progress in their learning at their own pace.
My lessons are tailored towards individual student's language skills and passions. I allow students to have a say in the subject matter of classes prior to lesson planning in order to make them engaging, relevant and meaningful. I am a real believer in boosting my students' confidence in order for them to progress as swiftly as possible and not fear making mistakes.
I base my lessons on undertanding wider themes and trends rather than fact learning. In doing so there is more chance the pupil will become more enthusiastic about the subject. There is always a balance required especially in language learning, but a student is more likely to learn if they understand the wider topic rather focus in on specifics straight away.

- Studying (last year) linguistics and modern languages :English / Arabic (lingüística y lenguas aplicadas) in Spain (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). I've lived in Spain since I was 3 years old. I grew up in Spain and studied there until university. I am studying in the UK (University of Essex) at the moment in order to finish the last year of the degree.
I have taught friends, and I have worked with 3-15-year-old kids while doing volunteering in the United States, Colombia, Nepal, and Greece. I first look at the strengths and basis and make an assessment of the level of comprehension of the student.
My lessons are tailored to student's needs and are designed to build confidence as well as provide opportunities to use new vocabulary and grammar in context.
