I thoroughly believe that the best way to learn a language is to try to communicate as much as possible in the target language. I understand that at the beginning of the language learning process it is difficult to have the confidence to communicate and I am a very positive and encouraging person.
Every class will be specifically planned for your needs. I like to introduce new vocabulary first and then work with the different skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking). If you're getting ready for your GCSE or A-level exams we will follow your school's topics in order to revise and deepen in knowledge.
Hi everyone! My belief is that everyone can learn a language (or a few) so I like to give interactive, fun lessons, based on building prior knowledge from English. Through this approach, children feel positive about their talents in language learning and approach new vocabulary and grammar with confidence, which is best nurtured through tackling small chunks at a time in challenging games.
I aim to inspire students to learn through becoming familiar with different culture, hence developing a passion for the subject. I also feel it is highly important that teaching is student-led and is focused on the content of which the student finds interesting.
I base each lesson on the needs of the student, enhancing either speaking or writing skills. I encourage students to speak in the language as much as they can, and put them in contact with the culture.
I grew up in Hong Kong in the english school system, and have taught and tutored English and French in various countries including Hong Kong, China, Spain, England and Peru to students of all ages (1 and a half to 40). I have experience tutoring one-one as well as in a class room setting- my teaching methods are largely adaptable depending on your needs/ desires.
I like to cater to students’ needs, whether this be vocabulary learning, pronunciation improving or oral teaching. I will also set bits of homework depending on the level of the student.
I am an outgoing 22-year-old whose first language is Spanish. I studied Economics, Political Science and Italian during my undergraduate degree, and have also learned other languages such as French and German. Therefore, having learned other languages, I know how to teach Spanish to people of all ages.
My teaching methodology is based on the DELE curriculum. Currently, I teach in a family group combining teaching tools, such as activities with Spanish toys and Spanish vocabulary books with the most complex grammar lessons. The accent used is pure Castilian.
