Hello, I believe that success lies in teaching "the student", not just teaching "the subject". Therefore, I take great care in developing a method unique and specific to each individual student.
I achieved all A*s and A's at A level and am a top student at my highly ranked school, having received a Cambridge interview for Natural Sciences. I give one-to-one tutoring for high school students year 7-12, in mostly Maths and Biology, but I am flexible to teach other subjects to year 11 and below.
I give lessons to KS3 and KS4 students to help them improving their grades in Maths. I teach both Foundation and Higher tiers. I teach following the natiuonal curriculum, and tailor my lessons to suit individual student's needs according to their current grades.
Teaching style: I can teach Maths and/or Economics at any level up to A-level, we can go at any pace you wish using various methods that suit you the best. My aim is to use techniques that will make you feel the most comfortable and therefore gain the best results.
I can teach based on any student's needs. Will approach the problem from the students point of view. I love math and you can see the enthusiasm in my work. Every student can learn math if he or she is approached in the right way. Students sometimes feel uncomfortable when they are compared with others at school and this can be the reason they do not like the subject.
Hi! I'm Louise. I'm a college student in my final year, studying French, Maths and Media Studies at A-Level. Having achieved A* at GCSE and A at AS Level, and currently on track for an A this year, I decided I would put this experience and knowledge to good use to help others learn to love maths as I do. I am willing to tutor for GCSE and AS Level Mathematics.

I truly enjoy maths and problem-solving, and promote a low-pressure approach to teaching by encouraging students to enjoy the subject rather than dread it. I have recently left secondary school and am aware of the more recent GCSE and A level specifications, and being closer in age with students makes me more approachable and understanding of secondary school exam stress.

I am currently an A-level student, taking maths, biology, chemistry and psychology. I've done my GCSE's and i got a 9 in the Maths GCSE and an A* in Further Maths. I am willing to tutor younger kids with basic maths, or even GCSE students as i have recently gone through what they will be going through, and therefore i can relate to them and try and help out as much as possible.
After gaining 6 As and 5 A* at GCSE, I hope to gain 3 As and above at A level. The progress I have made has been due to all the help I have received, alongside my hard work and dedication. I would like ot help others in this way. I make lessons positive and ensure you go home having learned a lot and ready to be back soon.
I aim to assess what is needed by each individual student and tailor my approach and resources used to that student. It is essential that students are given this individual approach to ensure they reach their own potential. This will need an assessment of skills a a first step.

My preferred teaching method reflects that of how I teach myself content, very structured and planned, which has been extremely successful at university so far. Preferably there is a plan of what to achieve and continuation is dependent on the achievement of objectives.
Teach students quick ways to learn concepts by offering cheat methods, whilst still being able to get full marks on a paper. Has been successful for myself so I try to offer a better perspective of the subject as I am younger. Am the most friendly person you will meet and will make the lessons fun and enjoyable.

MATHS MADE EASY. I am open to see the different teaching techniques my students would like to use. Mathematics is about solving problems and so therefore, the best way to learn is to practice and do countless examples. Starting from simpler questions and gradually making them harder. For GCSE and A-Level students, the best way to learn is to practice questions and to do past papers.
I like to teach by setting, marking and providing assistance with past papers in order to improve exam technique as well as application of knowledge. I found that during my exams this proved most effective. This will guide my lessons because exam skills are essential for GCSE students.
Hi! I have a maths degree and I love to help my students learn maths and improve their mathematical skills and fluency. I have been fortunate enough to get positive feedback from my students which always motivates me to do better. I highly value my students' opinion so I talk to them about their ideal lesson and work to deliver it to them.
I tailor my approach to each student. I make sure to communicate with the student and their parent before we start tutoring. I make sure to understand what level they are at, what they enjoy and what they struggle at. Ideally, I like the student to take responsibility for leading what we will learn as it encourages them to be active learners.
Being a student myself, I have first-hand experience of what is necessary to succeed at GCSE's and A-levels (or equivalents) having gone through the process recently, which other teachers may not have.
I am a 18 years old student. I have strong passion for maths and planning to do a degree in Maths in university. I like teaching as I see it as an opportunity to spread the knowledge and when I teach someone, I get to pull something different out of the topic every time.
