I'm an A-level student studying Maths, Physics and History, willing to tutor those at GCSE level Maths, Science and History or As level Mathmatics. I use the students own homework and class work to make sure their knowledge is secure and build upon areas where they struggle.
My teaching philosophy is that anyone can learn anything. However, if students are struggling with learning new topics and subjects it is seldom the case that the concept has been presented to them in a poor manner. From my past teaching history, I have developed skills where I will help students to introduce the same concepts in a simple story-like, easy to grasp manner.
How I teach is dependant on the student and their needs; Sometimes past papers are best to identify weaker areas and get a general feel of how the student needs help whereas other times certain topics needs in depth explanations!
I am an international student who has a dual nationality as a Bolivian and Japanese. I give lessons to students in primary and secondary schools. I usually teach my students straight off of their textbooks, but if needed, I can also provide made-up assignments and tests to ensure that the student gets enough practice to fully grasp mathematical concepts.
I'm a Mathematics Undergrad.I give maths tuition for all ages between 4-18 years in all areas. I specialize in A Level and GCSE maths. The main technique I use is in the form of a lesson i.e. starter, main, plenary. Lots of examples given to make sure pupils full comprehend.
I use the latest GCSE syllabus to cover all topics. Further more I focus on the students weak points and insure full comprehension before moving on to the next topic.
I am a patient, logical, practical and persistent individual, who has taught people of varying abilities. I like to understand how each student best learns and fit their tutoring to suit their needs. I think I understand the process of learning as I have done it so recently myself and being at graduate level I am still very familiar with exams and techniques for these, as this is usually the key.
I am a friendly computer science student offering help to GCSE and A-level students to help pass their exams.
I give one-to- one classes or online classes as well to GCSE students.I have different teaching techniques. I use practise books, previous exam papers and different apps to teach. I also explain the easy approaching methods which helps the students to remember.
I encourage problem-based learning, where a subject is approached through solving various open-ended questions with an aim of cultivating scientific thinking, logic, and further complex problem solving skills. In this approach I promote active learning via student-to-teacher and student-to-student interaction.
I am currently at university studying Business Management and Spanish. I will tutor any school level students- from primary to sixth form/ college, and will make sure the lessons are engaging and fully addressing the students needs; filling in the gaps In learning for which schools do not have time for. I am currently a year 10 student at Waingels School, I am really great at solving mathematics, which has been proven by my outstanding grades and this has been made constant as a result of my zeal of always reading ahead of time, and I strongly believe and know that I am more than capable to impact rapidly positive in both the student's character, his/her homework scores, and exam grades, as...
For more content-based subjects - such as biology and chemistry - I read the specification to gauge what the exam board is putting the most emphasis on. In addition to this, I use the specification to determine what potential questions could be asked, such as longer-answer questions (6 or 10 marker questions).
I finished my masters degree in economics and finance at Durham University in September 2010, graduating with a distinction. Whilst I hope to start a career in this area in the future, I am currently pursuing my other passion - rowing.
Hi, I'm Abby, I'm 20 years old and study Mathematics at the University of Sheffield. However, am I currently at home in Berkshire over the summer holidays.
I have enjoyed giving both lessons and lectures to students at my school. I pride myself on the levels of enjoyment and efficiency that I can deliver. I am a flexible teacher, who can adapt my teaching style to a wide range of students. I firmly believe that with enough hard work, I can get any pupil an A* in mathematics at GCSE level.
Can teach any types of math from primary school level up to Sixth Form - very flexible and good value. I would normally like to go through questions with students but can also teach methods if thats what the student wants.
I aim for my teaching to be passionate, engaging and personalised, since we all learn best in different ways. I find that patience and comfort are very important when solving maths problems and I like this to come across in my teaching.
