I'm an advanced guitarist and give lessons to beginners and intermediate players. My method is quite chilled and relaxed, perfect for those who don't wanna bother with music reading and theory and wanna play songs quickly. We'll focus on a song of your choice to learn the main chords at first and improve it step by step.
I am a creative teacher with a comprehensive and flexible curriculum. I have a good sense of humour too. I teach many styles to all ages and levels. I teach sight-reading, playing by ear (figuring out tunes, improvisation), composing, theory, music history, and prepare students for exams (if appropriate). My students smile a lot.
There's nothing quite like sharing your musical passion and seeing your pupil learn and develop as a musician. I believe it's important to be creatively involved as a student of music so I like to choose songs/ repertoire that my pupils are directly interested. Tell me your level or your area of special musical interest and I will tailor the lessons around that.
HOW CAN I HELP YOU? - Develop a solid foundation - Learn music theory - Improve your musical ear - Work towards achieving music grades - Guidance with Music GCSE/A-level - Learn how to practice effectively - Understand the fretboard - Set free your creativity - Write your own songs - Play your favourite songs - Basic accompaniment for singing - Soloing/Improvisation
My first approach is finding out what you are interested in musically, what inspires you to learn the instrument, my job is to help you achieve that goal. I also offer basic, easy-to-follow music theory guides which are applicable to your instrument.
I assess what style of music you enjoy and cater the lessons based on your personal musical goals. I use my various techniques for learning to play better, faster and to retain the knowledge so that you can see yourself progressing quickly also.
My methodology always depends on each particular student. The learning process of a child is quite different from an adult's one. However, I consider essential the idea of enjoying while learning which is something applicable to all ages. I have usually worked with the music that the students like so I can turn this music into an exercise for them to practice and acquiring skills.
I write student lesson plans and practice schedules and have created a ‘Learn how to Play’ guitar book for Guitar Function ((concealed information) aimed at the beginner guitarist. I have also created backing tracks, which are available on ‘YouTube’, for more advanced students wanting to extend their repertoire by learning more complex tracks.
My teaching motto is 'Let's be disciplined but also have lots of fun' I want to help people learn with the traditional techniques but to also have lots of fun while doing so.
I am an outgoing student with a bright future who loves to teach anyone and everyone. I like to teach beginners in a fun way that will be sure to catch your attention.
I am a Degree educated, achievement-driven and highly competent individual with an enthusiastic, patient and structured approach to tasks.I have gained Previous tutoring experience during studies working with children on a 1:1 basis. As a Creative, empathetic and multi-lingual professional, I have excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
My lessons are fun, engaging and inspiring.
I have many years' experience of teaching a variety of musical styles to all age ranges and abilities, some of whom have gone on to play/tour in bands. My teaching at an Independent Day School in SW London involves teaching pupils aged 4-11 in the art of playing simple and popular songs that they play as small groups at the end of each term to other pupils and parents.
I started playing guitar when I was 8, learning in a house the composer Elgar once lived in. Having a wide range of musical interests, I've been inspired to learn techniques & repertoire from rock, pop, blues, folk, classical, flamenco, bossa nova, jazz, hi-life & slide.
Learning any instrument is always a personal and unique journey. My job is to help you on your way. I listen to exactly what every student wants or needs from their music education, and I try my best to give them just that. Lessons can be genre specific or general.
My name is Eugenio and I'm Italian. I'm a 22 year old guitar player I've been teaching guitar and music for many years and I've always founded different approaches for every different student for a better and more fun level of understanding and faster results. I really love my job and I always interact with my students with excitement and commitment.
I'm Glyn, a 32 year old primary school teacher that has an obsession with guitars. I have played for the past 15 years and wish to teach anyone of any age or experience level. We can meet or I am happy to come to a location convenient for you.
I like to teech people from the real basics, such as the musical notes and the simple chords. I also like to introduce some easy songs right at the beggining so it doesn’t get too boring.
I'm a high ability pupil. I am extremely smart and although I'm only in year 7 my minimum expected grade is a 9. ( There are only 9 levels) I am very experienced in English, Maths, Music, Geography, History, and Drama.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2014 and have been teaching guitar for over ten years. I teach all levels and styles. In addition to playing, my students learn music reading, theory, ear training, and more! I have also been trained to teach the Suzuki method and the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music learning.
My new method of teaching can help you to learn easily and very quickly. High level of Guitar education included different materials of music such as, music theory, sight reading, classical Guitar Techniques, Guitar Repertoire, Musical phrasing and etc.
I give lessons to more or less anyone, and I typically teach by showing and having them copy and giving pointers when they ask for it. I'm very friendly and I do not get frustrated easily, and I will be very helpful and encourage my students.
I believe in sound before symbol. The main attribute that I am inspired by in people is their experience; I want to teach because I want to impart skills, knowledge, and understanding to others in the hope that I will inspire them, as I have been.
I am an A-Level student who has a passion for playing guitar, I am easy to communicate with and I am capable of teaching children or adults at a beginner to intermediate level, including students with additional needs or learning disabilities. I can assist students in song-writing. I am happy to teach different genres subject to student's requirements however I specialise in rock, pop and jazz.
