Spanish is indeed a beautiful language and I would like to give lessons at school or high school level. I base my teachings in experiential learning and help to build strong fundamentals. I am a very visual and active learner so my lessons will be creatively planned to be interesting; one will exceed if enjoyed.
I base my classes on my students' own learning styles and capabilities. Everyone learns in different ways; in a group class, it's important to involve different aspects of major learning styles, and ensure everyone understands. As an individual tutor, I pride myself on my students learning in a fun, challenging environment.
My classes are structured as follows: 1) Short review of previous lesson. 2) present new material in small steps, give clear and detailed instructions and explanations. 3) Check for student understanding. 4) Guide students during initial practice. 5) Provide systematic feedback and corrections.
Diagrams have the shape of neurones, they make learning a quick an effective process. Similarly, categorising accelerates learning. Nonetheless, only the practice makes the masterful. I employ memorising methods to assimilate the theory and quizzes and multifarious activities to practice. Furthermore recommended readings and other leisure activities is the way to consolidate knowledge.
