About Shaila
Hi there! I am a passionate communicator with a lifelong love for the English language and literature. I decided to become a tutor because I find nothing more rewarding than seeing a student have that 'lightbulb moment' when a difficult concept finally clicks. My goal is to share my enthusiasm for writing and reading with my students, helping them find their own unique voice. I want to teach because I believe that strong communication is the most powerful tool a person can have, and I am dedicated to helping you build the confidence to use it effectively in school and beyond.

I believe that mastering English is about more than just memorizing rules, it’s about building the confidence to communicate clearly and creatively. My lessons are highly personalized, focusing on your specific goals—whether that’s acing an exam, improving essay structure, or boosting conversational fluency. I provide a supportive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Together, we will identify your strengths and work through your hurdles using practical exercises and real-world examples.
