About Carolina
My name is Dr. Carolina Montoro and I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach you! I am from Spain, although I currently live in the US. I have lived in many countries and I speak 3 languages (Spanish, English and German). I have always been interested in understanding how life works, from the tiny, microscopic world to our unique ecosystems, which is why I decided to study biology and neuroscience after high school! Currently, I have a PhD in neurobiology and many years of research and tutoring experience. My aim is to share my knowledge and my passion for science with all of you and make the most of your learning journey!

I would definitely recommend Carolina. She really helped me understand topics in Biology that I didn't really get before. It made a difference how much she cared about me learning, and I loved that she always came up with a way to make complex things easier to visualise. I wish I'd had more teachers like her at school!
Carol is lovely! She helped me a lot to pass my final exams and my pending biology and chemistry make-ups. In class she always tries to explain it to me in different ways to understand it, we also do review exercises and sometimes we watch interactive videos to make it easier. I highly recommend her :)
