About Kian
I'm currently a medical student at Keele University, with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths—achieving A*s in all three at A-Level. Because my degree builds on these subjects, I'm able to explain complex concepts in a clear and in-depth way. I have experience tutoring students both at Ashbourne College, where I studied, and through Spark Generation School. I’m passionate about helping students boost their confidence, deepen their understanding, and reach their academic goals.

My main goal in lessons is to help students truly understand the material—not just memorise it—so they can confidently apply it in exams and real-world contexts. For subjects like Biology, I break down complex topics into manageable, easy-to-understand chunks. I encourage questions throughout the lesson, making sure students feel comfortable stopping me if anything isn’t clear. Once we’ve covered a topic, we’ll reinforce the learning with exam-style questions to build confidence and identify any gaps. I also share practical exam strategies and tips that have worked for me, helping students approach questions with a clearer mindset and better technique. My sessions are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace and learning style.
