About Akshaj
My name is Akshaj, and I am currently the Head Student at my school. I’m studying Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, and Business at A-level, where I am currently achieving A*A*A*A.
I know that some parents prefer "traditional" teachers, but my biggest strength is that I am still in the system. I have recently sat my GCSEs and achieved top grades, meaning I understand the specific wording, the time pressure, and the exact "tricks" examiners use in 2026.
My Tutoring Experience
School Tutoring: I actively lead tutoring sessions within my school, helping peers and younger students bridge gaps in their understanding.
International Teaching: I have experience teaching students internationally, which has taught me how to adapt my explanations for different learning styles and backgrounds.
One-to-One Sessions: I have conducted numerous in-person sessions, focusing on personalised, high-impact learning.

About the lesson

I focus on making things "click." If you don't get a concept, we’ll look at it from a different angle until you do.
Computer Science: We do live programming, theory, diagrammatic topics and brand-new exam questions. No more reading from a book.
Maths: We use a digital whiteboard to work through problems together. I’ll show you the exact steps examiners look for so you don't lose marks on your working out. It's about building confidence for each question.
The Tracker: I’ve programmed a custom topic tracker for my students so we can see exactly where your gaps are and watch your progress improve over time.
Lesson Details
Duration: Usually 60 minutes. I can extend if need be.
Who it’s for: Years 7–11. Whether you’re struggling to pass or pushing for a Grade 9, I’ll adapt to your pace.
I’m not a career teacher, I am a student who knows the current syllabus thoroughly and knows exactly how to handle the pressure of the exam hall.
