About Matt
Hello, my name is Matt, I have been teaching history for several years now and I absolutely love it. I look forward to getting to know you as a person as well as helping you achieve more with your history. I know that history can be a confusing and sometimes overwhelming subject - it does get bigger every day after all! Together, I am confident that we can understand what we need to understand, to get you the grades that you want and most likely have a little laugh along the way. I can help you with AQA A-Level history in the following modules: Crusades, British Empire, Cold War & Tudors.

My lessons will be catered for you. I suspect we would discuss the topics you need to learn, work our way through them systematically and create essay plans as we go, to ensure all information is angled towards answering those all-important essay questions. Lessons would typically last 45 minutes to an hour to fully explore aspects of your subject and make powerful arguments. My experience as an a-level teacher and one that has provided plenty of 1-2-1 support will go a long way to making sure the time we spend together will be as productive and useful as possible.
