Deleuze defined philosophy as “the art of forming, inventing and fabricating concepts”; knowing full well in his advocation of a 'pedagogy of concept' the bidirectional relationship of information pertaining to perception. We are in other words subject to our beliefs, which very much shape the world that we see (and do not see) and the manner in which we behave.
I hope in some way to find each persons individual method of learning, as each of us is different, so to should the tools of teaching be different. I try not to go too deep into particular subjects but rather glide other several different subjects and then pull a cohesive conclusion from the bunch.
I teach one on one or in small groups and for my teaching around my students. I am able to adapt to different teaching methods weather that be by constantly testing students or writing songs that help students remember big contexts. I know how hard revising is so I always make sure that I make studying enjoyable.
I am a Durham University Student who is able to teach Geography, History and Biology up to A-Level and Maths up to GCSE! I love using combinations of teaching and practise essays, as I feel it is crucial to use a mix to get a good understanding of a subject!
I have recently finished Secondary School and am going to University next year. I have a strong academic record in exams in the past and can help not only in the learning of syllabus content, but also targeted exam technique which is crucial in order to achieve the best marks.
I believe the best way to approve, both for myself and others, is through practice and feedback. Hence, in terms of revision, writing essays and essay feedback would be central to any tutorial. History is not about just learning facts, but applying facts you have learnt to construct an argument.
My teaching method is very hands on and practical. I bring a lot of energy and passion for the subjects I teach. From primary basics, through to intellectually stimulating A-level contents. Starting very lesson with what you know, and ending every lesson with what you now know.
While admittedly I have no prior experience of tutoring, I am very passionate about making learning enjoyable and adaptable for my students. I have a large quantity of notes and text books on History, English and Media Studies, varying from intermediate to academic, which I will use during my lessons.
I am offering lessons primarily to secondary school students, at GCSE, AS and A level standard. I’m currently on my gap year and endeavour to give engaging lessons, tailoring them to the students needs; whether this be providing new ways of learning informations, going through past papers and testing student’s knowledge, essay planing, as well as helping to develop good revision strategies.
As someone who has recently gone through the experience of taking the GCSE, AS and A Level exams for Sociology, I believe that I will be able to understand pupils' strengths and weaknesses throughout each lesson, and work towards improvement together with the pupils and their parents.
My teaching method is fundamentally collaborative. The pupil and I will identify the areas which need the closest attention and work together to create a comprehensive overview of their subject in accordance with the curriculum and exam specifications. The most important thing a pupil can take away from our sessions is a growing sense of confidence in their ability to master the subject.
I believe no two students are the same and like to work with people based on their personal strengths and weaknesses working together in a way that is comfortable and productive for both the teacher and student. My approach is relaxed and enjoyable sessions where students are comfortable to ask whatever they need to and feel secure in the support and information being provided.

I can offer extra support for students, breaking down any module in psychology, into a concise and easy to learn experience. I can do this through presentations, academic research handouts and enabling the student to gain familiarity with the modular content, through mock exam preparation and research skills enhancements.

I am a 20 year old student from South London offering lessons up to A Level Standard. I will tailor lessons to each exam board and what they offer. I specialise in written communication, and will aim to teach students how to write concise and nuanced essays, which I have found useful beyond academia. I will also aim to aid analysis of source material, another massively useful skill in history.
My teaching method involves breaking down each examination or topic into sub topics and tackling them methodically. Once all topics have been covered tests and practice questions will follow to ensure the information has sunk in. If you don't practice the exam you will suffer. Real discussion around the topics is also of upmost importance.
I have an infectious interest in my subject, an affable personality and an insatiable appetite for knowledge. I work closely with students to evolve strategies to improve their academic self-sufficiency, developing the curricula and producing creative and exciting lesson plans accordingly.
I am a freelance tutor and journalist. I teach history to all levels from primary school to degree level. My methods vary, sometimes we practice exam questions, somewtimes we have a structured debate and sometimes I ask leading questions. Most of all, I dispell myths that have built up about History.
