About Saoirse
Hello! I am a friendly tutor with a strong aptitude for history, and most recently achieved an A* in the AQA A-Level History June 2026 series. As such, I have a great understanding of what is really needed to achieve high history grades, having gone through the process so recently myself! I’m keen to share my history study hacks and help A-Level students capitalise on their potential.

Prior to beginning lessons, I will contact you to discuss areas you’re keen to work on, and will use this to create a personalised lesson plan for you which will be adapted throughout our lessons.
Lessons will be about 1 hour and will initially focus on mastering the various essay structures to ensure you are able to hit the top marking bands for analysis.
We can then move on to knowledge consolidation, particularly in the areas you have identified as weak, and focus on applying this knowledge effectively in an exam context.
Once you feel confident in this, we will start to focus more specifically on exam preparation and technique, including spending more lesson time going through your essays together so that I can provide focused feedback.
