About Amber
Hi, my name is Amber, I am currently a student in year 11 and I would like to start teaching because I believe in helping people.
As a person who would like to study medicine in hopes of becoming a doctor, I believe that this job is a perfect starter for myself because it creates the fundamentals needed for this future profession.

As a person in a rather similar position, I believe that in order to create a suitable learning environment the student needs to feel comfortable and attempt to see work as an opportunity, not an obstacle.
Lessons should typically be no longer than an hour, including 5 minute rest periods halfway through the lesson. These rest periods are important because it will help the student work more efficiently.
My qualifications as a GCSE student are limited, however, I have tutored students in the past and the students enjoyed the lessons and were still able to gain skills and fix anything they had any trouble with.
11+ students should take this time to ready their skills, not just for their exams, but for secondary school as these subjects will be with you until you are 16.
If you want to be strong at maths in the future you should try to get a grip on it at a young age because it will make it simpler and easier for you to understand.
