About Rhea
As an A Level student whose chose to study English Literature and is continuing to do so, it is a subject I have grown to be very fond of. At GCSE level, I absolutely loved examining texts and understanding the purpose of writing, considering the context behind it all. I love how English is not just a sole subject but integrates many studies into it such as psychology, history and religious studies to name a few.

My teaching methodology begins with assessing where the student/I feel most attention is needed. Whilst paying close attention to this, I will try to change tasks to make sure there is maximum engagement and non-repetitive lessons. I will provide weekly vocabulary quizzes for 11+ students as well as past paper questions, access to various resources that have been made by myself focussing on punctuation, grammar etc. For GCSE students, I will focus on each theme and character with great detail and aid students with essay plans as well as coherency of writing. For my GCSE texts, I studied Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, An Inspector Calls and Macbeth.
I have previously tutored with 3 months of experience where I aided a newly moved student from abroad, adjust to the UK curriculum whilst also providing updates to parents and informing them more on the education system.
My lessons are for any student looking for 11+ or GCSE tuition.
The typical length of a lesson will be an hour long.
