About Shiza
I’m currently an A-level student studying Psychology, Sociology and English Literature, alongside completing an EPQ. I have a strong interest in English and enjoy helping others develop their confidence and skills in the subject.
I studied at Heckmondwike Grammar School, where I also completed my Duke of Edinburgh Award. I achieved good GCSE results, which gave me a strong academic foundation and taught me the importance of organisation, commitment and hard work.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. My aim is to help each student improve while making lessons enjoyable and encouraging.

As an A-level student, I understand how important it is to feel confident in English. My lessons will be relaxed, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I’ll help students improve their reading, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and communication skills through engaging activities and personalised support.
I’ll explain things clearly, encourage students to ask questions and focus on areas they find difficult. My aim is to make English enjoyable while helping students become more confident and improve their skills over time.
