About Maya
My name is Maya :) and I am an A-level student currently studying Chemistry, Biology and Psychology (I know some tough subjects), I really enjoy being able to teach others and seeing them reach their full potential! During my GCSEs I found that Biology was my strongest subject - I often found myself helping fellow students understand how to answer exam questions and apply their knowledge which built up my interested in tutoring/helping others. Overall, I had achieved a Grade 9 in my Biology GCSEs and would love to pass on more knowledge onto other students!

I firstly ask my students to complete a practice paper in order to see what topics are there weaknesses and strengths, I also ask my students what concepts/topics they seem to find difficult. Over the course of my sessions I will then begin to explain these different concepts of Biology and then give them past exam questions to apply their knowledge. Students will also complete mini recall questions at the start of each lesson to make sure they do not forget previous content.
