About Amy
Modern Languages and Linguistics is my passion, I believe it is truly a subject that inspires connection and understanding of the greater world. I understand many students forced to study languages are not of the same opinion, but I aim to provide encouragement and support regardless, since this can be a challenging subject for many. I am willing to teach any French learner of any age, skillset or experience, I love this subject and would be grateful for any opportunity to utilise it in a way that benefits others.

With 7 years of experience learning French myself, and further experience in learning other foreign languages, I find it most effective to develop a deep base knowledge of the language systems and then work up from there. I believe understanding how the language works is fundamental to being able to speak with fluidity. A lesson can typically last between 45 to 90 minutes, I'm most experienced with helping GCSE students with speaking practice, but I can also provide support in writing, reading and listening too.
